Maintenance Department
The City's Maintenance Department won the float award
for Best Automotive
Jeremy
Williams (driver), Arthur Dowling, and Michael
Zastavskiy showcase a renovated Fire Department vehicle,
which is a 1976 Dodge power wagon.

DVD copies of “Delta
50-year Snapshots – 1st Edition” are available for sale at City
Hall.
Delta photos are still being collected to go
into a 2nd edition. Too much history was not captured on the
first DVD. Scott Cosgrove sitting on Aunt Jemima’s lap (1959).
Chuck Forck standing in the first field of oats in the
Clearwater area (1957). Ray and Lucy Savela with their five
children (1955). End of Alaska Highway marker when the
population of Delta Junction was 817. JoAn Talvi with Rika
Wallen on her 90th birthday. Vera and Paul Marchuk’s first home
that they purchased with 90 acres for $900.00 (1960).
